Cream Cheese Tunnel Cake {Cooking with Mama Pearl}
Yields 1 Cake
Ingredients
- 1- 10inch angel food cake
- 1- 6oz Cream Cheese
- 1- 14oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
- 2 to 4 drops Green Food Coloring
- 1- 12oz Coo Whip Divided- 1 Cup for filling the rest for outside
Instructions
- Cut 1 Inch off top angel food cake, cut inside out save for later
- Beat Cream Cheese until fluffy- beat in condensed milk until smooth. Stir in lemon juice, almond extract, food coloring, add cake pieces fold in 1 cup cool whip.
- Fill cake- put top back on and chill for 3 hours.
- Frost with remaining whipped topping; garnish.
- Store in refrigerator.
